Content analytics, community creator experience

About the project

The Experience Design team was reached out by the Community Squad project manager to have a user test to understand the metrics that the content creators normally would lookout, the activities or methods that they used to track the metrics, how they measure the success of their contents and how they analyze feedback that is left on their content.

 

Hence, my colleague and I proposed to create a qualitative test, via usertesting.com, to validate the hypothesis & assumption that were made by the Community Squad project manager. On usertesting.com, we tried to reach out to audiences from all over the world.

The purpose of the test

  1. To understand the metrics and activities that community-based social network creators track, and their thoughts on how they measure the success of their content

  2. To understand how analyzing feedback affects their content creation process, and also explore potential alternatives to industry standards of engagement.

My role

  1. Prepare script based on the research plan created by my colleague and the Community Squad project manager

  2. Set up the test on usertesting.com

  3. Create the insight report and share it with the Community Squad project manager

  4. Quick presentation to the Community Squad project manager on the overall results received
