The purpose of this project is to design a brand new intranet portal.

As a UX Designer, Consultant and UI Coordinator, my role is to design the intranet based on the requirements provided and to coordinate with in-house UI designer for the website color scheme.

I am responsible for arranging website information architecture, completing low-fidelity mockups design, consolidating feedback from the client and coordinating with in-house designer for website color scheme and high-fidelity mockups.

The challenging part of the project is that it has 2 parts to it, 1 for normal users and 1 for admin/superusers.

While designing for the intranet, I will need to start designing for admin/superusers first before working backwards to design for normal user. This is because both admin/superusers and normal users are seeing almost the same view, except that the normal users are not suppose to see any edit button or edit mode screen.
