The purpose of this project is to redesign the previous website to be more user-friendly and easy to search for courses.
As a UX Designer, Consultant and UI Coordinator, my role is to design both the website and the user dashboard according to the requirements and to coordinate with in-house designer for color scheme guide based on provided branding guide from the client.
I am responsible for re-arranging the information architecture of the website, the completion of low-fidelity mockups of the website and user dashboard, consolidating feedback from clients, coordinating with the client for their branding guide and coordinating with my in-house designer for high-fidelity mockups of the website and user dashboard.
The challenge of this project is the re-arranging of their courses' information architecture. They had a huge list of courses for each category and most of the time I was not able to make any decision on which course should be placed in which category. Hence, I suggested to the client to re-arrange their courses on their own while giving them a sample copy on an Excel sheet on how it can be done so that it would be helpful if there are more courses to be added to their backend system.
